Finding Time

Finding Time is a musical record of the years between giving up a "good" career and finally feeling a new direction take hold. Call it a song cycle of creative renewal: returned home but dislocated after seven years abroad; the physics I had studied explained the outer world but couldn't answer new questions I could barely articulate; relationships uncertain, relatives aging and ailing, a constant striving to make the passing time count for something.

Melodic, personal and densely lyrical, Finding Time weaves between styles as snapshots and stepping stones through this period, ultimately transformed with a new sense of purpose through acceptance and expression in music itself.

All vocals and instruments arranged, performed and mixed by Robin, mostly at the 'sDoodyO' on the south coast of England.
